Portable earthing is used to protect people who work on disconnected sections of overhead lines and power lines, if a high or induced voltage accidentally appears on these sections. The operation of the portable grounding is carried out according to the "Instructions for the use and testing of protective equipment used in electrical installations".
Portable grounding is used for operation in dry weather. If there is precipitation, frost, then it is forbidden to use these devices. Portable earthing is used in an explosion-proof atmosphere devoid of conductive vapors, dust and gases, type II.
Portable grounding ZPL is a linear portable grounding used when carrying out work on overhead electrical lines, in a situation where there is an induced voltage or by mistake current is supplied to the disconnected section.
Portable grounding of the RFP is a portable grounding for switchgear, designed to protect electrical installations operating on disconnected current–carrying parts with a voltage from 0.4 kV to 220 kV in the event of an erroneous supply of voltage to this section or the appearance of induced voltage on it.
